For the last 20 years I have been delivering a Business of Medicine lecture teaching the next generation of medical professionals about the basics of financial planning including student loans, contract types, retirement planning, and risk management.
In 2023, I will be giving my lectures online and in-person nationally. Typically I will talk to a residency program or a professional development day for all the GME departments.
New this year is additional content on the (PSLF) public service loan forgiveness program and pros and cons of debt refinancing. The lectures are pro bono and don't reference any particular companies’ products.
Past speaking locations include UCLA, UCSF, Cedars-Sinai, Saint Mary's, USC Keck, Long Beach Memorial, UC Irvine, Harbor UCLA, Cal Pacific, Glendale Adventist, Arrowhead Regional, Olive View, White Memorial, Alameda, Dignity, UC San Francisco, PIH, VA facilities, Eisenhower, Loma Linda, UN Las Vegas, and virtually all Kaiser locations.
In-Person lectures can be accommodated in California, Texas, Seattle, Portland, Denver, NYC and surrounding cities. Please reach out for confirmation & scheduling.
