Recently we have had many discussions with clients about how to help those in need during the Covis-19 crisis. With unemployment spiking and the government response taking more time than we would like, food banks are a much-needed part of the social safety net. My family had attempted to purchase canned goods to donate but there are limitations to prevent hoarding as well as restrictions on open times to donate so at this time cash donations are best. Here is a resource list we put together of food banks in areas where we have a significant number of clients. Many people in our communities are resorting to food banks for the first time.
