For the last 20 years I have been delivering a Business of Medicine lecture teaching the next generation of physicians about the basics of financial planning including student loans, contract types, retirement planning, and risk management. New this year is additional content on the (PSLF) public service loan forgiveness program and pros and cons of debt refinancing. Spots are reserved in the order received. Noon conferences can be combined with more than one department if possible especially if fellowships are from the initial board certification. In some locations we can assist the GME coordinator in creating a comprehensive program including physician recruiters, contract lawyers, medical malpractice specialists and accountants.
As always, the lectures are pro bono and don't reference any particular companies products.
Past speaking locations include UCLA, Cedars-Sinai, Saint Mary's, USC Keck, Long Beach memorial, IC Irvine, Harbor UCLA, Cal Pacific, Glendale Adventist, Arrowhead regional, Olive View, White Memorial, Alameda, Dignity, UC San Francisco, PIH, VA facilities, Eisenhower, Loma Linda, UN Las Vegas, and Kaiser facilities from Riverside to Washington State.
