For the last 20 years I have been delivering a Business of Medicine lecture teaching the next generation of physicians about the basics of financial planning including student loans, contract types, retirement planning, and risk management. Historically I have done this presentation in local institutions, but technology has allowed me to fulfill requests from around the country for online lectures. Beginning July 29 @ 5:30 PM PST I will be giving my lecture online instead of in-person, and it would be an absolute pleasure to have people who are interested join and gain an hour of valuable knowledge. This can also be shared with colleagues who you believe would benefit from the presentation.
New this year is additional content on the (PSLF) public service loan forgiveness program and pros and cons of debt refinancing. As always, the lectures are pro bono and don't reference any particular companies’ products.
Past speaking locations include UCLA, Cedars-Sinai, Saint Mary's, USC Keck, Long Beach memorial, IC Irvine, Harbor UCLA, Cal Pacific, Glendale Adventist, Arrowhead regional, Olive View, White Memorial, Alameda, Dignity, UC San Francisco, PIH, VA facilities, Eisenhower, Loma Linda, UN Las Vegas, and Kaiser facilities from Riverside to Washington State.
